The Pembroke Old Scholars’ Cricket Club welcomes players and supporters to be part of the Kings' legacy
The Kings are a proud and successful club with a history reaching back more than 80 years. We strive for excellence at the highest level, while maintaining the integrity and enjoyment of cricket.
Founded in 1946 as the King’s Old Collegians’ Association, our success includes 18 Championships - 13 as Pembroke Old Scholars and 5 as King’s Old Collegians.
We currently have teams competing in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association, and in the South Australian Masters Cricket Association.
Pembroke Old Scholars has four teams in the Limited Overs (LO) Competition. This competition comprises one-day games of 40 overs a side played on Saturdays.
Two teams participate in the T20 competition. This competition is 20 overs a side and played on Tuesday evenings during December and January.
We also have one team in the Masters competition (Over 50). This competition comprises one-day games of 40 overs a side played on Sundays.
Our facilities are the envy of many clubs. Our home grounds are Haslam Oval at the School, and Park 17 at the Adelaide Parklands.
We train on the turf practice wickets at Kensington Oval during the week from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Training days are confirmed ahead of each season. Anyone interested is welcome to have a look and meet some of the players and other club members.
Fees are waived for current students and school leavers playing their first season.
